The Cultural Park’s Kinmen Museum of History and Folklore proudly presents a brand-new special exhibition focusing on Kinmen’s water culture. The exhibition explores themes such as aquatic ecosystems, water legends, water resources, daily water use, and sustainability. Through these displays, visitors can gain insights into how water has shaped the lives and history of Kinmen’s people.
The exhibition showcases historical artifacts related to water use, with additional contributions from the Kinmen Intertidal Zone Association featuring the Kinmen Tidal Snail. Visitors can also enjoy interactive experiences such as VR games provided by the National Taiwan Science Education Center, mobile QR code mini-games, and hands-on activities like water wheel operation, laundry by the well, and carrying water with shoulder poles.
A specially created 2D animation adds to the fun and educational atmosphere of the exhibition, making it a perfect destination for families to enjoy and learn together. Join us in exploring water’s essential role in Kinmen’s culture and discover the importance of cherishing this precious resource!
