"Kiln Fires and War Flames-The Beauty of Kinmen’s Pottery and Porcelain Craftsmanship Exhibition" With fire as the eternal element, and after a thousand years of tempering by fire, the brilliance of Kinmen’s Wudao was reborn from the ashes like a phoenix and butterflies that were once inconspicuous spring silkworms, interpreting the eternally beautiful designs and vessels. The “kiln fire” represents the torch of ceramic craftsmanship that was passed down from generation to generation, while the “war flames” symbolize the silhouette of belief in peace against the wartime spirit of Kinmen. Being born to burnish the greatness of Chinese culture, we proudly distinguished ourselves on the global stage as a“Island of the Spirit and Land of Peace”. This exhibition is divided into five themes: "Treasures of Kinmen's Local Cultural Heritage", "Design and Art: Tempering Earth into Vessels", "Memorabilia of Kinmen Pottery and Porcelain", "Fine Vessels Holding Fine Liquor: Resonance Between Kinmen Ceramics and Kinmen Liquor", and " Aesthetics of Local Ceramic Art and Ceramic Life in Kinmen ". The exhibition showcases ceramic liquor vessels, ceramic crafts, and ceramic art pieces produced by the Kinmen Ceramics Factory from the 1970s to the present, along with artisanal works created by local ceramic artists.
